MirrorMate originated from a recognizable problem on the shop floor: mirroring takes time, requires many repetitive actions, and is often awkward work. We didn't want to create a gadget, but a practical tool that employees would genuinely want to use.

Why we do this

The MirrorTool didn't start behind a desk, but among the shelves. From our own experience, we saw that mirroring often costs more time and frustration than necessary. That's why we started testing, adjusting, and trying again, until we had a tool that immediately adds value in practice.

On the shop floor, we saw how often employees have to reach, slide, and start over to get shelves tidy.

The first prototype

During the minor Entrepreneurship, the idea arose to create a simple but clever tool. The first version was still rough, but immediately showed that it worked.

Testing in supermarkets

Testing with branches revealed what employees really need: control, speed, and an adjustable end for various products.

Evolved into MirrorMate

With practical feedback, the MirrorTool has been further improved into a product that can be used daily on the shop floor.
